HSArts offers a diverse range of classes that cater to different interests and skill levels. Aside from the dance program, classes offered include visual arts, Mandarin Chinese, coding, and private piano lessons, all taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about their craft. At HSArts, we believe that learning should be engaging, challenging, and fun, and we are committed to helping our students achieve their full potential.
Visual Arts
Foundational Drawing A (ages 6+)
- Friday 4:15-5:15pm (1 hour)
- Friday 4:15-5:45pm (1.5 hour)
Marker, sharpie, and color pencil art. Focus is on basic composition, measuring, and shading skills.
Foundational B/ Intermediate A (ages 8+)
- Thursday 4:15-5:45pm
More challenging works than Foundational A, with addition of mediums such as watercolor or acrylic. Students may also begin to learn formal pencil drawing （素描）.
Intermediate Drawing B (ages 9+)
- Thursday 4:15-5:45pm

Advanced Drawing (12+)

For students with little experience in conversational Chinese.

Coding
Coding 1 (ages 8+)
- Mon 4:15-5:15pm
For beginners with little to no experience with coding.
Coding 2 (ages 9+)
- Tues 4:00-5:30pm
Students in this class have had 2-3 semesters of weekly coding class. New families – please contact us for curriculum details.
Private Piano Lessons
We offer private piano lesson for students ages 6+. Classes take place weekly and include 30, 45, and 60-minute options. Please contact us for details.
